Assemble Home Essentials Packs on your own schedule and help local families access the everyday items they need most.

Across our community, hardworking families are feeling the impact of rising costs. When more of the household budget goes toward necessities like rent, groceries, utilities and child care, there is often little left for the everyday items that help a home function and a family thrive.

That is where Home For Good comes in. Together, volunteers, donors and community partners are providing Home Essentials Packs to more than 3,500 neighbors. These packs are filled with highly requested items like dish soap, trash bags, toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner and can help ease everyday costs so families can focus on what matters most.

You can help make a difference in our community.

Volunteer at home on your own or with family and friends. Shop for the requested items, assemble Home Essentials Packs and drop them off between October 5 and November 13, 2026. Each completed pack helps ease household costs for a local family and provides practical items they can use every day.
