Greater Twin Cities United Way is mobilizing individuals, companies and institutions to meet this moment and respond to increases in urgent community needs. Nonprofits need flexible resources to continue serving families during this unprecedented time. Volunteers are needed to help provide food, household essentials and other supplies for families. And community members are looking for trusted ways to help without unintentionally burdening busy nonprofits. United is the way we help our neighbors. Join us.
Volunteering is a great way to provide immediate, meaningful support for local families. Sign up for a Volunteer At Home project to help ensure our neighbors have access to food, household necessities and school supplies through our trusted partners.
Group projects can be tailored for teams of any size and hosted at your workplace or offsite. United Way provides pack lists, coordination support, and impact reporting. Projects are available year-round and typically run 1–2 hours. Email VolunteerUnited@gtcuw.org to learn how we can partner with you!
