What I won’t stop fighting for

With so much bad news around us lately, it can be easy to get caught up in the negativity or lose focus on the great nonprofits our dollars work so hard for, changing people’s lives while building skills needed for good jobs and happy families.

I find hope in stories like those found at International Institute of MN. These are programs that thrive because of your support, and I’m so very proud to brighten your day with them.

International Institute of Minnesota continues to succeed in helping new Minnesotans create careers and financial stability.

As program participant Dorcas Macauley says, “You educate a man, you educate an individual. You educate a woman, you educate a nation.”

I couldn’t agree more.

Summit Academy OIC
is seeing significant growth in enrollment in summer 2017, including the program area we support, Women Wear Hardhats Too. Learn more about the importance of targeted education programs that break down barriers for women in this video.

Lifetrack has expanded its services in 2017 and we’re thrilled to share the news. Our grant supports the work of a community health worker in their Families Together program, but here’s a look at new programming that’s helping more Twin Cities resident achieve financial independence.
