Stock the Box Challenge
By Diane
Associated Bank ran a Stock the Box Challenge, a school supplies drive that was part of their United Way campaign. This was a collective effort of 20 bank branches – those in the seven county Twin Cities area as well as the Hudson group. The result was 75 boxes of supplies, 3 backpacks and 2 banker boxes full of items such as scissors, glue, Kleenex, markers, crayons, pens, rulers, hand sanitizer, pencil pouches and more.
This generous donation was delivered to FamilyWise in Minneapolis. FamilyWise has been keeping children save and helping families lead stable, healthy and productive lives since 1976. They work to help our community’s most vulnerable children and families. They promote social change by strengthening families and the community through programs that encourage self-determination, self-sufficiency, and healthy family lifestyles. The supply kits donated by Associated Bank will benefit children participating in FamilyWise’s early childhood education program. They will ensure that kids have all the resources they need to learn, play and grow to their highest potential.
