Natalie Walters Donor Advisor
Inspiration: “Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” — James Baldwin
What working in this community means to me: “I am inspired and motivated to be a part of an organization that prioritizes equity and creating a community where all people, regardless of race, income or place thrive.”
Natalie is honored to be a donor advisor at Greater Twin Cities United Way where she serves as a liaison between generous donors and the organization’s impactful programs.
She previously served as an associate development officer at MPR and a development associate for City of Lakes Waldorf School. Other elements of Natalie’s professional background include teaching positions and her ongoing work as an independent Norwegian language instructor and tutor. She is also a board member of the Minnesota chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and holds a bachelor of arts degree in theatre arts.
Natalie and her husband Jonathan, son Clarence and cat Dixie reside in Minneapolis. When not working, she loves participating in and supporting the local theater, arts and music scenes.
