Kelly Puspoki Vice President of Communications
Inspiration: “Just do right. Right may not be expedient, it may not be profitable, but it will satisfy your soul.” — Maya Angelou
What working in this community means to me: “It’s a privilege and an honor to learn from and support my community, knowing that I’m contributing – even in the smallest ways – to building a region where everyone has access to opportunity.”
Kelly oversees communications strategy at Greater Twin Cities United Way, using her passion for leveraging marketing to drive mission. She manages executive visibility and thought leadership, internal and external communications, media relations and donor engagement.
With more than 20 years of experience, Kelly helps brands tell their stories, solve complex challenges and drive results. Notably, she has developed strategies and campaigns to influence safe driving behavior among teens for The Allstate Foundation, resulting in a 30 percent decline nationwide in teen deaths caused by car crashes, and launched micronutrient supplements for Nutrilite to address chronic childhood malnourishment in South Africa, China, Ukraine and India.
Kelly has served on local nonprofit boards and marketing committees for People, Inc. (mental health services) and The Link (housing and truancy services for teens.) A classically trained pianist, Kelly spends her time driving her kids everywhere, listening to podcasts and slowly working on her memoir.
