Jeff Moores Senior Manager, Direct Response Fundraising
Inspiration: “You cannot do a kindness too soon because you never know how soon it will be too late.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
What working in this community means to me: “I’m thrilled to connect passionate Minnesotans with the causes they care about. Since joining United Way in 2017, I’ve learned how even vibrant communities like the Twin Cities rely on the generosity of neighbors to ensure we all benefit from our region’s successes.”
Jeff works with individual community champions who desire strong connections to the causes they support through direct response fundraising. This includes building strategies for United Way’s giving communities (Arise Project, Women United, and Emerging Leaders) and creating pathways for United Way to engage new audiences through annual campaigns. Jeff joined United Way in 2017 and has served as both a leader of fundraising strategy and a driver of individual relationships.
Prior to joining Greater Twin Cities United Way, Jeff’s career focused on relationship-based sales, business development, and marketing consulting services. He studied English & writing at Augsburg University and spent time abroad at Queen Mary University of London.
Jeff lives in Northeast Minneapolis with his partner and two adopted dogs. He enjoys keeping a pulse on new local restaurants and binge-watching/reading whatever science fiction you put in front of him. In his spare time, he’s also a certified adjudicator of color guard competitions with the North Star Circuit and Winter Guard International.
