CEAP COVID-19 Funding
I was relieved. Instead of wondering how we could handle the increased demand, the grant allowed us to focus on serving our individuals and families. We are so appreciative of United Way, as well as the community’s generosity, so we can feed our hungry neighbors.

COVID-19 is hitting people experiencing poverty the hardest. During the first two weeks of the pandemic, there was a significant uptick of people coming through our doors who had never received services. We usually have about five new clients each month and now we’re seeing more than 300—and that number is still climbing.
