Our 211 resource specialists provide nearly 460,000 referrals to critical services for people in need every year. Because of our existing infrastructure and expertise, MHFA selected United Way’s 211 resource helpline to be the point of contact for people seeking these housing resources.

I'm so happy to be caught up with my rent!
In partnership with Greater Twin Cities United Way’s 211 resource helpline, the state of Minnesota recently launched RentHelpMN, a new rental assistance program making it possible for low- and moderate-income renters to get caught up on overdue rent and utilities. The program also makes provisions for those at risk of falling behind on rent payments due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
