Volunteer

Greater Twin Cities United Way is concerned about the health and safety of everyone in our community. The impact of COVID-19 has limited in-person gatherings, including with our nonprofit partners. Needs for in-person volunteers will vary across nonprofits. Unfortunately, participation in any in-person activities, including volunteering, will increase the risk of virus transmission. If you choose to volunteer in person, please work with the nonprofit to be sure that appropriate safety measures are in place, such as compliance with the latest CDC guidelines. If such measures are not in place, you are not comfortable with accepting the increased risk posed by volunteering in person, or you are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19, you should not volunteer in person. We will continue to monitor the COVID-10 situation and do our best to help keep our community healthy.
