Community Connection Series: Virtual Conversation on Career Academies
About this Event
As a valued United Way partner, you’re invited to our next virtual Community Connection Series where you’ll learn more about Career Academies, our innovative, wealth building strategy for youth.
Career Academies partners with 16 school districts across the state to build equity-centered career pathways for students in 9th to 12th grade, which provides access to rigorous and relevant curriculum; meaningful and supportive work experiences; and college credits. Our work focuses on eliminating college debt and unlocking jobs that pay $25 per hour so young people can take their place of leadership within their communities. Join us to hear from partners who will present insights highlighting the benefits Career Academies brings to our youth.
