Join us for the Advocacy for Children Day Virtual Rally!
For over 20 years, hundreds of young children, parents, early childhood professionals and advocates from across the state have come together to ask legislators to prioritize Minnesota’s youngest children. Join us this year for a virtual rally!
ATTENDEES ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO SET UP VIRTUAL MEETINGS WITH THEIR LEGISLATOR(S).
Please help us share the voices of our children with legislators by participating in our art project. We’re attaching a fun coloring page for children to share their big dreams for the future. Send in your artwork and letters so legislators can hear your voices, learn your stories and understand the importance of early childhood investments in your community!
EACH KIT INCLUDES INSTRUCTIONS, PARENT LETTER, PROVIDER LETTER, AND COLORING PAGE:
Over 35,000 children in the state of Minnesota don’t have access to quality early care, education, and other supports.
This day is an opportunity to speak up, for and with children, to make sure their care and education are prioritized in policy discussions and legislation this session. Let’s create a buzz! Use #OurChildrenMN to share why early childhood is important through photos, quotes, or artwork!
