$2,500 Scholarship Open to High School Juniors

Greater Twin Cities United Way is now accepting applications for a $2,500 educational scholarship.

Created 30 years ago, the Juliet Evans Nelson Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of a young person who worked to make her community a better place. It’s given annually to a high school junior who is making a positive impact through volunteerism.

By accepting the scholarship, the recipient agrees to coordinate a Volunteer United volunteer project(s) with his or her school or community group during the 2017-2018 school year.
